STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Chameleon connects these subjects through articles and projects: asking questions, spotting patterns, designing solutions and testing ideas. Drawing, music and imagination have a place throughout.

You can subscribe to Chameleon on its own. The regular coding projects use Pliro Learner, the free software. You can also simply enjoy the science articles and facts on paper and talk about them together.
Try the regular Pliro projects and make them your own with free Learner. You do not need a Creator Pro licence to get started.

No. Read an article together, ask questions and let your child explain what they are trying. The projects give you a starting point for creating together. You do not need to know every answer in advance.
Chameleon is a printed magazine published every two months: six issues a year. The first issue is planned for January 2027. Check the current subscription and delivery information when ordering.
Yes, delivery within the Netherlands is included in the subscription fee. Any delivery charges for other countries are shown after you enter your address and before you confirm your order.
You do not need a computer to enjoy the articles and facts. Pliro projects need a computer running Pliro. Hardware projects may need a Raspberry Pi and separate components, for example; these are not included with the subscription.
Chameleon is currently available in Dutch only. This English-language website describes the Dutch-language magazine; it is not an English edition.
